Believe me, S/He is with you, always!!

Completed 2 years today working for the organization. After graduating and completing masters degree, this is my first job and first hand experience of corporate life. It hasn’t been a smooth ride, rather, there were some fantastic highways and some uneven roads to cross. But overall, these 2 years have been awesome and have given me many moments to cherish and many to learn from. And probably that is one of the reasons why I am writing this blog from the office in the early morning.

I travel from my house to the workplace in the bus service provided by the employer. So I reach at the bus stop somewhat early and wait for the bus. Today, while waiting for the bus, I recollected suddenly that it was the 2nd work anniversary. Then I started looking back on these 2 years and reflecting on the journey so far. Became nostalgic and scenes of joy, struggle, anguish, happiness, frustration, friendships, jokes and everything that I did started going through in my mind. But when these feelings subsided, a sense of gratitude started coming in. I started to realize that for all this while, for everything that I have done,  for every person that I have interacted with or otherwise, for each and every step that I have taken, there is a force that has been with me. It has been guiding me in the ‘right direction’.

Now, one can argue that there are so many things that happen which are not of our liking. We don’t always get what we want. Situations don’t pan out as we would like them to be. So how can the direction be ‘right’? I have been a believer that whatever happens is for a reason and for the betterment. It may not be something you wanted or something you liked or wished, but it always the right thing which happens. It may become frustrating, annoying, make you angry for some time, but when we look back to the event that occurred, And we realize that it was the right thing and it changed the course of our lives for good.

So there is some force, whether you call it God, Goddess, Allah, Christ, Aatash or just the instinct, which makes you do what you do. It is always there, divine, silently staying with you all the time, watching all you do and guiding you in the correct direction whenever needed. It is the force that makes you wake up and get out of the bed each and every day, it is the force which makes you go to work, to meet new people, to start conversations, to connect with others, to feel the joys and sorrows, to laugh and to cry, and it is the same force which keeps you heart beating all the time throughout your lifetime!!

This brings us to the point that the divine power, super natural, above all, is always there with us at each and every moment of our life; and maybe beyond as well. What say?

  1. Thanks a lot Harshita! The purpose here is to observe life and magnify the tiny little things that often go unnoticed in the hectic lives of today. Glad to know that the posts make you take a break, sit back and reflect on your own life and also to appreciate the things that are otherwise ignored. If the blog is able to do this to every reader, the purpose is achieved!

    1. Thank you papa! Yes I definitely remember the quote and that you had written it on a white sheet and placed it at the front end of the showcase so that each time anyone went there, they could see it. And it is a wonderful quote that inspires me and I will never forget it!

  3. I also feel the same about my past 3 years of college life. If I look at that guy who just completed 12th and couldn’t be able to interact with someone properly and who is about to get into a college life and little scared of future!! I mean from that guy to today’s me, all these small things happened in past 3 years are responsible which we might consider negligible.

    1. That is an awesome improvement within a span of 3 years, Vaibhav! Kudos to you for that. It also tells us that change is the only constant and that no matter where you are today, there is always scope for improvement!
